All through last week (11th – 15th of May) teams from various age groups did their best to place the Pioneer’s CUP in their club house. I received an invitation from Darren Thomson to go along and take some photos but unfortunately I only managed to attend four games, so apologies to the teams that I missed. Under 12’s game took place on Tuesday at 18:30, Brixham football club hosted the under 12s game, Paignton Pilgrims against Totnes and Dartington. Both side produces a lot of action and it was a close game all the way to the final whistle.

This year DJM’s under 15s cup final saw Saltash youth playing against their friendly neighbor Saltash United. The game took place at ‘Home Park’ Plymouth Argyle’s home ground. There were plenty of supporters who came to see the game and cheer for their team. They make a lot noise for their team and in return they saw a lot of action from both sides which resulted in few near misses. The game ended at extra time in a drew (1 : 1) so there was the un-popular penalty. Due to weather condition the camera lens struggled to capture the action but some photos are added to the gallery. Finally I just like to Thank Trevor Gorman for coming along and being my guide and Dave Keast for arranging for the lights to come ON at half time.

Another home game for Efford Youth this time against Saltash United. A good competitive game which was played in good spirit, pictures from this game have been added to our gallery.

Saltash United are playing against Saltash Youth in the cup final at Home Park on the 4th of may 6.30 kick off, should be a good game to watch! (please double check the event before setting off)

Buckfastleigh Rangers played their last game against Hunters Creek. A good competitive game but the host didn’t manage to get the better of the guest team, it was good for the boys to finish their tour on a high note.
